Dr. Rafid Al-Asady

Dr Al-Asady is a Senior Staff Specialist and Senior Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) in Interventional Radiology, currently serving as the Director of Interventional Radiology at Westmead and Nepean Hospitals in Sydney, Australia.

He has completed advanced fellowship training in both Oncology Imaging and Interventional Radiology, demonstrating his commitment to clinical excellence and subspecialty expertise.

Dr Al-Asady is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR, 2016), and has been successfully inducted into the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR, 2021).

In addition to his clinical roles, he is a Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University, contributing to medical education and research.

Dr Al-Asady provides specialist consultations across several major institutions, including Westmead Public Hospital, Nepean Public and Private Hospitals, and Norwest Private Hospital.
