Dr. Ismail Goolam is a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist with a robust background in surgery and diagnostic radiography. With a deep foundation in both procedural medicine and imaging, Dr. Goolam brings a uniquely comprehensive approach to minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.
After earning a degree in diagnostic radiography, Dr. Goolam went on to complete medical training (UWA – Perth) and early postgraduate years in surgery before pursuing specialist training in radiology. This multidisciplinary foundation enhances his clinical decision-making and procedural expertise across a wide range of interventional radiology services.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Goolam has been actively involved in the development of junior doctors, particularly in his position as a Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) Manager at Westmead Hospital.
Passionate about Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Goolam also serves on the board of Global Medical Foundation an eminent NGO, contributing medical expertise to initiatives in underserved regions.
He remains committed to advancing patient care through innovation, education, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
